The excellence of VITA Zahnfabrik in the area of tooth shade determination and reproduction has been acknowledged internationally: In four out of five cases VITA shades are used in the fabrication of dental restorations.

With the VITA Toothguide 3D-MASTER, all natural tooth shades can be determined accurately and systematically. Currently it is the only existing shade guide for determining natural tooth shades built up according to a systematic colorimetric organizing principle. Shade determination is made following the three dimensions (3D) accounting for the shade impression:
Lightness (Value), color saturation (Chroma) and hue (Hue).

The VITA Toothguide 3D-Master is the central element of VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER comprising the elements teeth, ceramics, veneering materials and equipment. Together they represent system components complementing each other.

But grey is all theory and a picture is worth a thousand words. For 10 years now, profitable dental restorations have been planned, manufactured and assembled by means of the VITA SYSTEM 3D-MASTER.
